An analog multimeter is a kind of electrical measurement tool that uses a moving coil and needle display to measure voltage (AC/DC), current, and resistance. Because it displays data on a graded scale, it necessitates manual reading and interpretation. It performs well for tracking signals that change gradually, even if it is not as accurate as digital types. Analog multimeters are reliable and useful when trends and signal variations are more important than exact readings.
